When will the MADNESS end?

Today in Seattle's U-District police raided a medical marijuana coop Lifevine & stole 12 ounces of medicine and the medical records and medical authorizations of hundreds of patients, this is an outrage. I encourage everyone to contact your congressman and other officials and tell them this we won't tolerate this behavior anymore, it's time for them to really enforce the laws past by the voters in 1998 and the revision last year concerning a 60 day supply which even now the revised amount is 24 ounces twice as much as was stolen today. What does it take to keep patients safe from this type of harassment when those that are supposed to protect & serve are the very one's we need protecting from. This is absolute insanity. We have governor and LEO practicing medicine and giving input to the 60 day supply issue when it should be done scientifically as it originally and leave the medical issues to the patients and their Dr.
President Bush and the rest of the war monger's and liars have got to be held accountable for for these atrocities against the citizen's of this country. The WAr isn't working other than to help fill the coffers of he greedy feds DEA and the state county and local law enforcement they can steal and aren't held accountable. Many patients have suffered at the hands of these criminals. If we were to treat people the way any of the agencies treat patients by refusing this medicine and arresting them causing more suffering we would be charged with abusing assault, and other criminal charges while these officers and I use the word lightly more like gestapo who aren't held accountable get pats on the back and congratulations for causing this suffering. What's Wrong with this picture. Where is the justice, compassion and treating others the way we want to be treated. I pray none of these people have to suffer like many of us do on a daily basis but if they should then hopefully our diligence will have paid off and they won't have to experience what we do, even though the Law RCW69.51A is on our side making it legal for patients with a Dr's authorization. If those in office don't stop this madness once and for all, then they need to be replaced.

Stop the Insanity

I moved to Washington 5 years ago in search of finding a places with compassionate use laws concerning medical cannabis and was really on my way to Vancouver,BC with a stop in Seattle for Hempfest, I never left. Washington at that time was one of a handful of states that had passed compassionate use laws in Washington it is known as RCW 69.51A which you can read to see what it says but basically after consulting your physician on the pros and cons of cannabis use it can be recommended by your Dr. which sounds great but there is a catch, those laws aren't being enforced equally throughout the state and it is because of the there are differing opinions of what constitutes a 60 day supply. The DOH in Feb or March came up with a recommendation of what constitutes a 60 day supply and they came up with 36 ounces of dry material and a grow room of 100 s feet, these figures came from scientific and medical research not law enforcement and the governor and what they are comfortable with, so they told them to come up with something else, you can check out the DOH website to read the whole thing www.doh.wa.gov/hsqa/medical-marijuana, but basically they have copied Oregon's limits and that doesn't work there so why would it work in Washington. since when did politicians and law enforcement need to be comfortable with decisions made between a Dr & patient on how to enforce the laws. The DEA continues to bust dispensaries and patients with compassionate cannabis laws just to keep the war against Patients(Drugs) going to fill their coffers, what about the millions of patients who could be helped and instead have to suffer because of these ridiculous archaic laws and how they are enforced. What about patients rights not to suffer and Oh yeah what about the Constitution, all of that went out the window when Nixon was President who helped the HMO's and started the DEA. My goal here is to try to educate and inform you to the truth about medical cannabis, as a medicine is very effective for many different ailments and patients who use it are not criminals as the law enforcement would have you believe, instead we are just like you, we just have found a medicine that works, gives a quality of life not enjoyed while on so many other prescribed drugs, and the fact that Marinol which is prescribed quite often Marinol is synthetic THC the active ingredient in cannabis which isn't as effective and costing from $10-18/pill my monthly prescription cost over 1300/ month for 120 pills, when cannabis is more effective and can be grown by patients or caregivers for much less. What they don't realize is that it isn't the THC most patients are interested it's the cabinoids like CBD & CBN which are effective for pain and nausea & appetite.
There is help but it will take each of us standing up and telling the government it's time for We the People to say we won't take the lies and suffering anymore. There are many scientific studies that have been done on medical cannabis in other countries but the DEA & FDA won't allow testing here because they know that the truth will come out and their lies will no longer be effective along with fear as a way to control the people anymore. Everyday I hear from more and more patients who are looking for help and an alternative to the narcotics that don't work and take your life away, I believe it is my responsibility to help each of them find the help they want and need so badly.
